Smart Phone Addiction

I wouldn’t necessarily put mobile phones in the same category as  tobacco and alcohol when it comes to addiction but some are saying that they clearly need to carry a health warning at least. Maybe ‘Phones make you narcissistic’ isn’t really the catchiest of  messages but it does sum up what  academics in this article are saying about how spending an average of 3.6hrs a day on your smart phone distracts from real life and can have harmful effects to work and relationships.

Mmm .. I wonder if ‘Candy Crush’ came with a – ‘downloading this App may cause serious annoyance to your mother if you spend all your time on it like you have been for the last week even though I’ve asked you to clean your room several times and you’ve ignored me’ type of warning might do the trick!
